Under the patronage of the Governor of Holy Karbala, Dr. Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, the Karbala Directorate of Youth and Sports held the Karbala Women's Handball Championship from April 28-30, 2026, at the Olympic Hall, with the participation of public and private university and college teams from Karbala, in addition to the Girls' Club. The university team secured fourth place in the championship after playing competitive matches against the participating teams.
